About the Experience

Local Reef (½ Day) 

  • Shared Charter – $190
  • Private Charter – $650 (up to 4 divers) 

Uvita and Dominical sites range from 5m (15 ft) to 20m(66ft) with volcanic rock reefs. We mostly target snappers, mackerel, jacks, grunts and lobster.

Southern Reef (¾ Day)

  • Shared Charter – $350  
  • Private Charter – $790 (up to 4 divers) 

The southern reef offers a wide variety of fishes as cubera snapper,  yellow snappers, mackerel, grouper, stripe snapper, jacks, wahoo. Sites range from 5m (15 ft) to 20m(66ft)

  • Must be 16 years old
  • Be able to dive to 5m (15ft) in open water
  • Costa Rican Spearfishing License, you can purchase it online here

  • If divers show up hungover, drunk, or under the influence your trip will be cancelled without refund.
  • 50% deposit required. 2 weeks / 14 days cancellation policy. Any Trip cancelled 14 days or less before trip will forfeit deposit.

What to expect with us on our Reef Spearfishing Charter?

We highly recommend that every diver has prior experience in either freediving or spearfishing before joining our reef spearfishing charters. This is to ensure everyone’s safety and to give you the best chance at landing fish.

For freedivers or spearos new to spearfishing, our reef spearfishing charters provide a comfortable introduction. We offer numerous sites with depths ranging from 5m (18ft) to 35m (134ft)
