Five hunting days across two Pacific regions, with arrival on Day 0 and departure on Day 7. The eight-day trip runs within the February 16–25, 2027 window. Hunting locations and order may change with sea conditions.
Afternoon pickup at SJO, followed by a welcome dinner on the road (included). Arrive at the Uvita villa around 11:00 PM and settle in.
Depart at 7:00 AM for the deep pinnacle, returning around 3:30 PM. Lunch is served onboard. Sunset beach bonfire, then a chef-prepared dinner at 7:00 PM.
Bluewater hunting from 7:00 AM to around 3–4:00 PM, with lunch on the boat. End the day with sunset and a BBQ at Nicolindo.
Travel south with stops at the Stone Spheres Museum and a scenic lookout. Road lunch is not included. Arrive near Puerto Jiménez/Matapalo in the late afternoon; chef dinner at 7:00 PM.
Reef hunting from 7:00 AM to noon. Return to the lodge for a chef-prepared lunch, followed by waterfall exploration and dinner at 7:00 PM.
A full bluewater day from 7:00 AM to around 3–4:00 PM, with lunch onboard. Return to the lodge to rest before chef dinner at 7:00 PM.
Return toward Uvita by boat, hunting reefs along the route. Lunch is onboard; luggage travels separately by van. Farewell dinner and party at 7:00 PM.
Breakfast, then a morning van transfer to SJO. Book your departing flight no earlier than mid-afternoon.

Seven nights across two Pacific regions: three nights in Uvita, three near Puerto Jiménez/Matapalo, and a final night back in Uvita.
Meals are included from the welcome dinner on Day 0 through breakfast on Day 7, except road lunch on Day 3. Boat-day lunches are served onboard; Day 4 lunch is at the lodge. Chef dinners, the Nicolindo BBQ and the farewell dinner are part of the programme. Tell us about dietary needs before booking.
US$7,000 per guest, including 13% Costa Rica VAT. Groups of four or more can book together; solo travellers, pairs and trios can join a confirmed departure. Minimum four guests, maximum eight.

A 30% deposit (USD $2,100 per guest) reserves your place. The departure is confirmed once four guests have paid deposits, no later than December 1, 2026. If the minimum is not reached, all payments are refunded in full, or transferred to another date if you prefer.
Groups of 4+: pay the 70% balance (USD $4,900 per guest) by January 15, 2027. Solo travellers, pairs and trios: pay 50% (USD $3,500) within seven days of the departure confirmation email, then 20% (USD $1,400) by January 15. Individuals booking after departure confirmation pay 80% upfront. All bookings after January 15 require full payment.
USD wire transfer is preferred; other methods are available on request. Cards incur a 3.5% fee. A missed payment may release your place and amounts paid are retained.
Group bookings: before January 15, the deposit is retained; from January 15, 100% of the total is retained. Individual bookings: before the 50% confirmation payment, the deposit is retained; after that payment, all amounts paid are retained; from January 15, 100% of the total is retained.
The captain may change the itinerary for sea conditions. Cancelled fishing days are replaced with land activities or sheltered-water outings where possible, without a weather refund. Every guest signs a waiver. Travel and dive insurance with evacuation cover is strongly recommended.
You may transfer your place to a friend without a fee, subject to suitable experience. If we refill a cancelled place, we refund amounts paid minus the deposit. Individual guests are never asked to pay more because another guest cancels.
For group bookings reduced below four guests, the remaining guests cover the difference to the four-guest total, less amounts retained from cancellations, or move the dates with credit less committed costs. If fewer than three guests remain, the departure may move to another date with full credit.
Tell us your freediving and spearfishing experience before booking. We follow Costa Rican fishing rules and closed seasons. Licences are included; target species and catches depend on conditions and are never guaranteed.
